Part 2 of the Need series…
Love is only a battlefield when you have a fighting chance.
In the aftermath of bad decisions followed by poor thinking, Brayden is still without Kira.
Years of hurt have hardened Kira, and she’s not just going to roll over for Brayden on command. Strong willed and stubborn, neither of them is willing to give in without a fight.
There’s a million reasons why she shouldn’t care for him anymore . . . but she does.
Brayden senses this, and he’s laid siege on her life, haunting her in every possible sense—reminding her of what they once shared.
But he’s still the man that wrecked her.
The man she loves.
The man she utterly despises.
He’s still her step brother.
Right and wrong have no sway with the heart. What it wants, it takes.
With every day that passes, Kira is reminded of all the reasons she has to hate him . . . and all the reasons she still has to adore him.
Can Kira let go and give him a chance, or is it really too little, too late?
Even if she can forgive him, is it possible for them to have a future together while still being step-siblings?

Renee’s Review:
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Take is the second book in the Need Series. I absolutely fell in love with Need and could not wait to get my hands on Take.
Brayden is so in love with Kira. There’s only two problems with him being in love with Kira. One…Kira is his stepsister. Two……he hurt Kira with years full of his actions and doing what he thought was the right things to do. Kira can not stand Brayden. Her former best friend, stepbrother, and the guy she’s been in love with the longest time. Can Brayden convince Kira he is a changed man and he is hers and hers only? Will Kira ever be able to forgive Brayden for destroying her and have a future with him?
I absolutely loved this book. It picks up right where Need left off and it does not disappoint. Brayden really grows a lot in this book and I enjoyed watching him turn into the man he thinks is good enough to have Kira. Kira is still so mad at Brayden for all the stupid things he has done to destroy her and she absolutely refuses to forgive him or be his. I enjoyed the back and forth banter between these two and the denial and expression of feelings. It’s certainly the heart wants what the head knows is wrong story and will leave you breathless and begging for the way you want the book to go. I’m left on the edge of my seat and reeling from all the emotions. It’s a great read and I loved it just as much as I loved Need. I also NEED Own in my hand to see where the conclusion of this series takes Brayden and Kira. K.I. Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco have done another amazing job of grabbing my heart and not letting it go.
If you have not had the opportunity to read Need yet you don’t know what your missing. You also have to read Need before you can read Take. Don’t miss this amazing story of a love so strong you’d do anything in your power to have it.
