H.S. Strickland is from a small town in South GA called Brunswick. She moved to SC when she was in her early teens and just recently made the move to Florida. She dragged her daughters, husband, and kitty along with her. H.S. has always had a passion for reading, but recently starting writing, although it has always been a dream. Her Nanny always told her to follow her dreams, which is how she got into writing. That and her characters were nagging to have their stories told. If you can’t find H.S. behind the keyboard making magic, you will find her chasing her daughters around the house. If not that then curled in her big red comfy chair reading. She loves alpha-males who are almost ass holes, but still have a sweet spot for their woman. She has loved the entire journey to where she is now and couldn’t thank y’all enough!

5 stars for The Missing Pieces by HS Strickland!  This is the second book
in The Intertwined Seduction series and the follow up to The Lucky Bullet.
I loved The Lucky Bullet, and I am happy to report that this book is just
as enjoyable.

In this book, we get to read more about Mace and Ray, but the focus of this
book is on the evolving relationship between Ryan and Sloane.  Ryan is your
typical love em and leave em type of guy, but that all changes when he
meets Sloane.  For the first time in his life, he wants more than sex from
a woman.  Even though Sloane wants Ryan just as much as he wants her, she
fights her feelings.  Sloane is not who she claims to be, and she knows
that her secrets have the ability to hurt both Ryan and Mace.  When her
boss tells her to get close to Ryan to garner information, her resistance
is blown all to hell.  The two begin a relationship that soon turns to
love.  When the past comes crashing into the present, the secrets Sloane
has been trying to keep hidden are exposed, and everyone she loves is
hurt.  Will Mace and Ryan be able to see past her lies and forgive her?

HS Strickland is a very talented author who certainly knows how to craft a
story that draws the reader in from beginning to end.  This book contains
the perfect amount of love, friendship, angst, and danger.  What more could
a reader ask for?  Congrats to this author for hitting another home run
with this exciting story.
