5 stars for My Soul Immortal by Jen Printy! This is the first book in the
Fated Eternal series, and it is fabulous!
Jack doesn’t know who or what he is, all he knows is that he is immortal.
He lost his soul mate over a century ago, and has lived each day since with
a broken heart and no will to live. After he is caught up in an
unfortunate event in LA, he decides on a whim to move to Portland, Maine.
One day while he is out looking for a job, he is not watching where he is
going and barrels into a lady. Jack is shocked when he looks at the lady
because she looks just like his dead girlfriend, Lydia. After getting to
know her, he discovers that she has been dreaming of him for years. Can it
be that fate is finally going to cut him some slack and allow him to be
happy again?
This is a beautiful story filled with love, loss, and second chances. I
loved Jack so much. His sadness just leaps off the pages of the book and
into the reader’s heart. Leah was just as lovable as Jack, but where he
felt doomed at times, she offered him hope. I really really loved this
book! The story line flowed well, and the characters were well developed.
I am really looking forward to the next book in this series. You should
snatch this book up soon! I promise you will not be disappointed! Kudos
to Jen Printy for creating such an awesome piece of work.
