Following her discovery, Paige is forced into a situation where she needs to accept that, although a person can control their mind and body, the circumstances of their lives are far outside their grasp. As Paige struggles with coming to terms about events in her life, she is also put through the harrowing task of learning when to fight and when to let go.
Strong-willed and arrogant, Daemon Pierce agrees to help Paige on her hunt for Chris. As Daemon instructs her how to fight with both body and mind, he breaks down the final walls she has built around her heart.
Paige and Daemon’s emotional journey concludes as they learn the meaning of love and forgiveness, and ultimately…surrender.

Laura’s Review:
5 stars
I was given an ARC in return for an honest review.
Stephanie and I got the ARC of Control at the same time and were going to try to read it together so we could discuss. I started without her and the first chapter had me so stressed I had to stop reading until she started so I didn’t say something I shouldn’t. I love that the writing in M.S. Willis’ books get me that caught up. She had me all stressed out several times throughout the book and I loved it! She also had me crying because I was laughing so hard and then just plain old crying. I was reading it at work so I was trying not to embarrass myself and holding all the stress in made my chest hurt. The book is so good it brings on chest pains lol.
I was so happy to be back with the whole crew again for Conquer. It feels like they are part of my family or something and I was so happy to see more of Annie. This group is amazing and Paige and Daemon are beyond hot. I could talk to y’all for hours about all the stuff in this book but I don’t want to spoil it for you. I’ll just say t this was an amazing story line that ends the story of Paige and Daemon but don’t you worry there’s more where these came from Annie and Alex are both getting books as well. Can’t wait!
Stephanie’s Review:
OK…here’s another if you haven’t read Control or Conflict stop reading NOW!!!
Conquer is the third installment of the Control series. There will be at least two more books and a novella to complete this series coming in 2014.
This story picks up right where Conflict leaves off…you have no time to think where did that end, as you’re immediately sucked right into the action of the story. That’s one of the best things about this writers style is that as soon as you pick up her book you’re captivated. There’s no wondering what’s going on around you…you’re pulled into the story. So, now that you’ve got that picture…let’s talk about Paige and Daemon. Daemon’s childhood was just one horrible act after another and for him to turn out as well as he did, thanks to a friend of Paige’s parents, he deserves someone like Paige to love. Paige has been raised around abused women and children the majority of her life. She has issues of her own and longs for her first and only real love Buddy.
Realizing Buddy & Daemon are the same person and she’s learning to love him for the real him instead of a memory from when she was 5-6. This starts as a struggle for Paige but she soon learns to give her whole self to Daemon.
SO…in Conquer there are a few issues that need to be settled for this couple and the major one is for Chris to be found and captured. You would think the police would have a better handle on where this dude is…so far that’s not true.
This series is the number one series for me this year. I would love to tell you more about this story…but like I said if you haven’t read Control or Conflict then I’ll spoil it for you. And I know you’re still reading even though I said not to. 🙂
Just know this….you shouldn’t judge this series by it’s covers. The covers were all hand painted for the story. Once you read the book you’ll understand the cover. BUY this series!!! You will LOVE it just like Laura, myself, and so many others do. M.S. Willis is an extremely talented writer and you need to read her work.
Excerpt:
His words were breathless as he spoke into my ear. “You need to understand, Damsel, that from this day forward, you are the only woman that I will bury myself within. No matter how often I have you, it will never be enough. Even if you attempted to escape me, I will hunt you down and drag your stubborn little ass right back to my bed.” His teeth closed over my earlobe causing my head to roll back from the sensation. He let go of my earlobe and chuckled softly behind me. “Give in to me, Paige. Let go of all your grief, your fear, your anxieties about the future and let me fill the empty spaces created within you from the loss of all that unnecessary bullshit. You can fight against me all you want, but you should know that there is nothing in this world that will keep me from having you in every way that I want.” His right hand traveled down my abdomen, finding its way to the apex of my thighs. When his thumb met with that wonderful bundle of nerves, my legs quaked as a shudder rolled over my body. His long finger found its way within me causing me to tighten around him as my mouth opened to let out a silent cry. Like a toy he wound me up until I didn’t think I could take anymore. His hand moved from my breast to my throat as he continued his southern assault. Just as his fingers closed, lightly preventing my breath, he pushed me forward so that he could fill me again. Within seconds I was floating within a hormonal cloud, feeling like I had lost touch with the physical plane. My body floated back down from its peak, only to be taken back again; over…and over.
I lost count of how many times Daemon drove my body to the peaks of ecstasy that evening. All I could remember, all that mattered was the last thing I remember Daemon whispering as my body finally gave way to sleep. “I’m here with you, Damsel…always and forever.”
