During the month of October, 100% of the proceeds from Tattoos and Tatas will be donated to breast cancer awareness.
Claire and Liz have always had a friendship that defied the test of time, but when one of them is diagnosed with a disease that every woman fears, their bond is put through the wringer. How do you cope knowing your soul mate could be taken from you?
Filled with memories of their life long friendship, inappropriate behavior, bad tattoos and shaving cats, the two friends will realize that laughter really is the best medicine.
Tattoos and TaTas is not your typical love story; it’s a story of friendship and learning how to let go when something is beyond your control.
After working in the brokerage business for fourteen years, Tara decided to pick up a pen and write instead of shoving it in her eye out of boredom. She is the author of the Playing with Fire series, the Chocolate Lovers series, the Chocoholics series, the Fool Me Once series and Watch Over Me. Her novel Seduction and Snacks won first place in the Indie Romance Convention Reader’s Choice Awards 2013 for Best Indie First Book.
In her spare time, Tara loves to dream about all of the baking she’ll do and naps she’ll take when she ever gets spare time.
WARNING: Tara Sivec is a bad influence. Reading this book may have you make your husband google LOONER just to see the look on his face which in turn may blow up in your face when he makes you watch the clips on his phone. Which brings up the question…How does Tara Sivec know about looners in the first place? Moving on…
This is a novella in The Chocoholics series by Tara Sivec. If you have read the Chocolate Lovers series, this is a spin off when Claire and Liz and the gang are older and their kids are all grown up. Tara’s humor doesn’t stop after the Chocolate Lovers series. If anything, the books get funnier. Tara’s writing can have you tearing up and misty eyed on one page and by the next tearing up because you are laughing hysterically.
Liz and Claire have been through everything together. When one of them is diagnosed with breast cancer, the bonds of friendship are tested. When all control is lost, they come to realize that their memories and humor may be what gets them through.
As with the rest of the books, I loved this little installment. It made me laugh. It made me cry. I loved reading the flash back memories, adding to the stories and giving us more in the lives of the Chocolate Lover’s gang.
P.S. I know you are now googling Looner… I’m not sure that you should, you just can’t unsee that shit…
