There comes a point in a persons life where they just want more.  More time for themselves or more time for their loved ones or time to find a love.  Alex Garza worked tirelessly for his family business helping forward his famous Latin singer brother’s career.  He stayed in the shadows doing what was necessary for Victor and enjoyed the travel and money he made, but was ready to settle down for some “me time.”

His brother met the love of his live in book 1, Translation of Love, and they were married and starting a family.  Alex and Jordan had on and off flings but she stayed away from him because he was the brother of her best friends husband.  She didn’t want to screw up their dynamic.

Lately I’ve been reading books where the characters have instant attraction, and that’s certainly the case here.  However Jordan is determined to not act on those feelings.  It’s great to see how the author has woven the story of these two.  I think their story is more of a journey they need to take in order for Jordan to believe she is worthy of someone’s love and doesn’t have to use or be used.

I do love happy endings and this book does not disappoint.  Though it does take a bit to get there.
