Book Description:
She was meant to be his destruction…
A pawn played in a perilous game between
father and son…
Yet, her strength was more than either
man could imagine.
As Maddy learns to save herself…
She becomes the one thing that could
set the son free.
Madeleine Clark was raised to become a concert cellist. Sheltered and naïve, she remains hidden behind her music, a protection from the world around her. On the night of her first solo performance, Maddy accepts the admiration of a stranger and finds herself captive in a cruel and twisted power struggle between a sadistic father and his son, Aaron.
Seemingly, dangerous and uncaring, Aaron manages the business operations of his father’s estate. Wanting nothing to do with the slaves kept at the Estate, Aaron refuses to take part in the deeper depravities of his father. Despite his resistance, Aaron’s father ‘gifts’ him with a petite, brunette woman he can’t refuse.
A bond forged in conspiracy and deceit, Aaron struggles to save Maddy by teaching her to survive in the world in which he’d been raised. An unlikely union, Aaron soon learns that great strengths can exist within small packages, while Madeleine learns that love and light can exist in the darkest of places.

Stephanie’s Review: 5 Stars
Please take note of the content warning for this book. If you’re squeamish about those things you may need to stay away from this book. If you love CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds and other shows that are similar you will LOVE Madeline Abducted. This book’s focus is on a woman named Madeline “Maddy” who is a concert cellist and after her first ever solo performance she’s abducted by a sick man as a birthday gift for his son’s 25th birthday. Aaron is presented his birthday gift and cannot allow himself to show any emotion as to how the “gift” effected him. Madeline is the one person whose music puts him at ease. He can relate to the emotions she “shows” through her music.
Madeline is disoriented and confused when she wakes at The Estate and is scared to death. There will be no one looking for her. She’s an orphan. The solo family member she had left had passed as well. She would forever be missing. She learned to listen, watch, and strike when she could during her time at The Estate. She trusted Aaron and his right hand man Xander. They both tried to protect her as they also taught her the ways of The Estate. Aaron’s dad, Joseph, is a twisted and sadistic man. There are things Aaron wants to protect Maddy from and tries to keep her away from his father.
So, I won’t spoil this book any further…just note that the men in this story could all be considered evil and Maddy could be considered weak. I don’t believe no matter how you were raised nothing could prepare anyone for the situation she found herself in. She didn’t ask for it or go looking for it. She didn’t date. She stayed locked in her house away from people most of the time. But you know, when women are placed in situations they can either fight or flight, Maddy chose to fight. I don’t blame her. I would fight too. That Joseph is a very bad dude. I can’t even describe to you how bad he is. He gets off killing people. How horrible is that?
I’ve seen all kinds of reviews on this book. I beta read it for the author. I never saw thought any of the complaints I’ve seen were warranted in regards to this book. Some have said this book ‘s language is too formal, I think it’s just fine. They’re not in the ghetto. Some of the language might be formal, but it works for this particular book. I read quite a bit of paranormal books and the language is the same in a lot of those, so I’m not bothered by it. I guess some people are.
I felt like the author did a great job describing The Estate and things that were happening there. Maddy, Aaron, & Xander are great characters. They played their parts well. I’ve recommended this book several times and those that have picked it up liked it. I hope you will to if you decide to take a chance on Maddy. Her story should be shared.
Laura’s Review:
I was given the ARC with the privilege of beta reading it and I loved this story. It was different than anything I’ve ever read. Her writing and the story drew me in to the point that I was having dreams about the story at night. They were really messed up dreams too but I loved that the story and characters were in my head so deep they came out even when I wasn’t reading.
I had seen all of the teaser pictures and the cover before I read the story and I appreciated that the story and the pictures lined up so well. As I read scenes in the book I could picture it as if it were a movie or real because they matched up so well with the pictures that I had already seen.
M.S. Willis did an excellent job on the characters. I loved that it wasn’t always black and white good guy or bad guy. Aaron was a really bad guy he killed people for a living but he was also trying to find a way to make life better not only for him but the rest of the Estate. He has a connection with Maddy even before she is there as his slave. That brings me to Madeleine who I believe is the hero of the story. I enjoyed the way she was written to progress. In the beginning she was a weak and scared person even before she was kidnapped. After she was kidnapped and throughout her time as a slave she didn’t wither or remain scared she blossomed and she became a strong woman. She was faced with horrific situations and some very tough decisions but she gained strength and courage.
If you like dark and gritty this story is for you. Grab it and get sucked into the Estate.
