In this New Adult / College, Coming of Age story Tessa Ross tries to fight her attraction to bad boy Lucas Links. He is hot, arrogant, and has a sexual past that most boys his age could only dream of, (If they even knew they could dream of such things).
Lucas, the star quarterback seems to have it all, super star athletic abilities, expensive clothes, cars, and women who literally stop just to watch him walk by. On the outside he appears to have it all.
Tessa is a young woman who lives her life always doing what is right to make everyone else happy. She tries desperately to hold herself accountable to the demanding expectations of her family and everyone around her.
Is Tessa as innocent as she appears? Is Lucas just a spoiled young man who seems to have what every male, and female wants?
If you Love an emotional story that is full of spicy hot goodness. If you Love to follow a story from beginning until the bitter sweet end. If you are often left wondering what happened next… get your tissues and lip balm ready you are in for the read of your life.

I had a hard time getting into this beginning of this book to tell you the truth. It seemed to me the story was jumping all around trying to fill in the blanks on the characters that were coming into the story plus giving back story on some of them and also having the two main characters meet. I was more than half way through the book before I felt like I had a solid grasp as to what was going on. It usually doesn’t take me that long. The over all story was great. I enjoyed it once I figured out who was what, when, where, and why.
Tessa is a Senior in high school. Over the summer her high school and some others had to consolidate because of budget cuts. Thus adding tons of new students to her school. One of those being Lucas Link. When they see each other it’s a significant connection. Lucas is a well known player, however, and Tessa is shy and stays away from him best she can. Lucas tries to be in Tessa’s path every chance he gets. He wants to get to know her and he can tell she’s different for him.
Lucas is known as a bad boy who has sex with lots of girls. He has a habit of drinking and having sex with anyone he can get his hands on. There are quite a few women. Tessa is not impressed.
There is a cliffhanger at the end of this story…I might get the next story just to see how it plays out. These two kids definitely have a hard road a head of them. Tessa’s home life is a mess and so is Lucas’. They both need to figure out what direction they want to go and will it include each other or do they need to go their separate ways?
I am a very new self published writer. I will tell you I have always had a very vivid imagination. Starting at age 3 (as it states in my Baby Book).
