This book!!!! I loved it. Loved, loved, loved it!! Say You’ll Stay is now one of my favorite books ever. It’s amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I love reading a book that is everything to me. Say You’ll Stay is that for me. The writing is flawless and beautiful. The story is gripping, heart wrenching and addicting. The characters are so loveable and well developed. And the feels. The feels!!!!!! Oh my god, this book makes you feel so, so much. It made me cry, it made my heart skip, it made me laugh, it made me happy and it made me so appreciative of a great book.

Corrine starts off strong. Chapter One guts you and will have tears rolling down your face. And it keeps getting better and better. You will be hung on every word, every sentence, every scene. From start to finish, it’s all a great book should be.

Well done Corinne!! Well done!!

Each of Corinne Michaels books have been a joy to read.  This one is no exception.  Say You’ll Stay starts off with a bang and then just keeps on rolling.

You’ll find Presley having to pick up and start her life all over again.  A place she never thought she’d be.  Fighting off past demons as well as current ones.

Zach has never quite let Presley go.  She’s always been his.  Though how could he ever ask for a second chance after all she’s the one who didn’t follow where he went. *raises my eyebrow*

You know sometimes I want to think some of these fictional men forget (ha!) this is not the 1950’s.  *smile*  Women want to make their mark.  Earn their college degrees.  Then make a career or make a home for her and her significant other.  We don’t follow men around like puppy dogs.  HA!

That being said…Presley and Zach are like sugar and spice.  They’re one of those “once in a lifetime” couples.  The ones who everyone thinks will always be together.  The forever kind of love.  Until it’s not.

Author Corinne Michaels has made a great spin on these love birds story.  There’s a bit of drama.  Just enough to keep you wondering what will happen next.  I think you’ll enjoy this second chance love story.

EXCERPT:

“Hey.” Zach peers at me as I shake off my thoughts. “I figured you’d be asleep.” He climbs the steps slowly as I get to my feet.

“I figured you’d be gone.”

I walk toward him, unsure of why he’s here. “I left for a bit, but wanted to come check on you.”

“Oh.”

He snickers. “I couldn’t sleep.”

“Me either.” He’s close enough that I can smell his cologne. Even after a long night, being in the woods, he smells like home.

I take another step.

Then another.

I’m so close I have to tilt my head to look into his eyes.

I breathe him in, feel his heat, and I can’t stop myself. I want him. I need him. I grip his neck and yank his mouth to mine. I kiss him. I kiss him and give in to everything I’ve been feeling. He doesn’t waste a second. His arms wrap around me, holding my body against his. My fingers grip his neck, keeping him exactly where I need him. This kiss is frantic, but God it feels good.
