Guess who? Read through our Q & A’s. Make your guess to who you think our secret elf is today. You can put your answer in the RaffleCopter attached below. There may even be a prize in it for you! Good Luck!
1. What are you doing for Christmas this year?
This is the first time in 18 years that I will be spending Christmas with my dad. We live 600 miles apart and he is finally able to come and spend the holidays with us.
2. What would you buy us as a cool present?!
Books, of course! Or a new high-tech tablet or eReader
3. What would you like to find in your Christmas stocking?
Something shiny! Or…chocolate. It’s a toss-up!
4. What’s your favorite Christmas memory?
Decorating the tree with my kids. We put on Christmas movies (Charlie Brown, Frosty…the classics) and decorate. Love it!
5. What’s your favorite festive song or carol?
I know it is over-played to DEATH, but I can listen to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” year round!
6.. In a Christmas fantasy land – who would be the famous figures, past and present, at your dinner table and why?
Walt Disney – because he was an absolute creative genius and I am a huge fan of the Disney theme parks
Authors Kristan Higgins and Jill Shalvis – because I love their work and they are hysterical together
7. Again, in fantasy land or in reality – who would you like to grab under the mistletoe?
My husband (had to be said first!) and then the fantasy smooch? Teenage me would certainly opt for Jon Bon Jovi but grown up me…hmmm…I can’t narrow it down!
8. What would your perfect Christmas look like and would there be snow?!
Yes, there would be snow! I would have a bigger house with a huge family room with a ten foot tree with all of the ornaments that mean the most to me that we would have decorated with the family. Lots of food, lots of laughter but always at home.
9. What have been the highlights for you from 2013?
My sudden writing career had been the biggest highlight of 2013. I never in a million years thought that it would have taken off like this. I was able to quit my office job and now am home as a full-time writer!
10. Any New Year’s resolutions?
Just keep writing…just keep writing…
11. What is 2014 going to look like for you?
A lot of traveling for promotion purposes and hopefully a little less writing. That sounds weird, right? My goal for 2013 had been to try and do a book a month and I almost succeeded (I didn’t make that goal until late February!) so for 2014 I would like to maybe aim for a book every other month.
