Slater “Savage” Harlow has almost everything he needs to have an amazing comeback year. His knee is good, his dedication is there, his determination never left, but he woman of his dreams? That’s still up in the air. For Malone Fulcher she is still shocked that Savage walked away without so much as listening to what she had to say. They have a decision to make. Is it going to be marriage with late nights, dinner at one a.m. and stealing moments between road trips? Or will it be spending the rest of their lives alone , wondering why they couldn’t make it work?
MVP is the conclusion of The MVP Duet from Laramie Briscoe. You have to read On the DL before reading MVP. This is the pay off for everything that Slater and Malone went through in on the DL. This is where they figure out life and what they want. I am so sad to see this couple go. I have enjoyed all the time I have spent with them. They are just perfect for each other. Savage keeps Malone sane and calm and halfway from not freaking out and she is his motivation in everything he does and his home. They melted my hearts and I rooted for them all the way through both book. I can’t say anything about the plot of this book or you will know what is going to happen to the do they are don’t they end up together and I don’t want to ruin if for anyone. This is a series so worth reading. It is the second chance that both these characters wanted and needs and certainly deserved.
When she’s not writing alpha males who seriously love their women, she loves spending time with friends, reading, and marathoning shows on her DVR. Married to her high school sweetheart, Laramie lives in Bowling Green, KY with her husband (the Travel Coordinator) and a sometimes crazy cat named Beau.
