Misadventures with a Speed Demon by Chelle Bliss Release Review

I loved this book. It is so about total opposites attracting and true love. Brooks has never really had a family. His father has been out of the picture so long he doesn’t remember him and his mother would rather spend time with her drugs and alcohol than anytime with Brooks. But she had this boyfriend, even though he was a gambler and pretty much not worth a dime, he took Brooks to the race track while he placed bets on the races to make ends meet Brooks fell in love with racing. He has gotten to where he is right now on his own and he dominated dirt track. Now he is facing the greatest opportunity of his life and a chance to race with the big boys and Ridley Racing. Here he meets Faith who is the daughter of the owner of the racing empire. He also will learn what it feels like to make someone proud and be part of a family. Faith has grown up the total opposite of Brooks. She is by no means a spoiled princess but she is daddy’s girl and loves working with the family business. She has seen enough racers come and go and how they bed hop to know to never get involved with one. However one drunken night and a huge hook up and Brook and Faith are about to blow each others worlds apart. She wants a love like her mom and dad have and he wants to be a racing champ but soon finds out that his dreams may just change when for the first time in his life he realizes what love is and how it changes you. It was so much fun watching Brooks grow and see him interact with people who actually cared about him. He always knew he had not had a family growing up but the first time Mr. Ridley calls him son it changes his whole entire world. I loved him so much and just knew that he had to get the happily ever after. Does he? Well you have to read to find out. Trust me with journey is well worth your time.
