The Queen was playing her game and he was just a new piece on the board. His strength, his fury won’t help against her cunning, and deciding to help him could be my death.
This book is a standalone in the Broken Bows MC. However to fully understand everything that has gone on and things that will go on I highly recommend reading King and Pawn first. They are such amazing books and they started my Broken Bows addiction. I will also warn you that this is a dark MC romance series. There may be some things in this book that will trigger some people. Queen, as you would expect, if you have read the other books is dark and gritty and will have you turning the pages as fast as you can. This is the story of Codero a memeber of the MC and Piper who is a mystery and man at the unwinding of this story. She belongs to the Queen because of a dept that her mother had and the Queen uses her as a cleaning girl and to say the Queen is a horrible human being is a understatement. As one of the Queens “subjects” poor Piper is used and abused by everyone and tires to take care of everyone the best that she can. When Codero is taken it is a total surprise of the events that lead up to it. He has just lost his best friend and is pretty much losing his mind over it but he does have a night with the girl who he and his best friend shared and wakes up with no memory of what he finds happening. Someone in his club is out to get him and he has to figure it out. However the Queen gets him first and it is such a intense journey. I loved every second of it and was so shocked and gasped at the ending. To say this is a cliff ending is just a wow and how could she moment. I can not wait to find out what happens in the next book. There are so many secrets and lies to still uncover and I can’t wait to dive in and find out.
