One of the types of books I love to read is about rock stars. Jack Lair of Devil’s Lair is a hotty rock star in love with his back up singer Leila Marino. This is the follow up book to Back Up by A.M. Madden, so if you haven’t read Back Up yet, please do so before reading Front & Center.
Ms. Madden has done a fantastic job with the characters and the story. You can feel their emotions and sense they’re love for each other. This particular story has a lot of drama. I liked that Leila tried to protect Jack from his crazy ex. I hated his heartbreak for the way she went about trying to protect him instead of working together.
Their band, Devil’s Lair, is pretty popular and the love story of Leila & Jack the fans are eating up and helping them to become more popular. They’re spending the summer touring the US and learning to live with each other on a bus. Quite an interesting feat with 4 men and 1 woman.
I definitely think you should check out Devil’s Lair and these two stories. Highly recommended.
