Title: Melodic Madness
Series: Coveting Delirium Book #2
Author: Natalie Bennett
Genre: Dark Romance
Release Date: July 27, 2021
There’s a method in his madness.
Alaric is as brilliant as he is beautiful and twice as deadly.
He’s been watching me.
Studying me.
He’d planned to keep me long before I arrived on his doorstep.
His chaotic world is now the prison I’m forced to call home. A place where nightmares and reality are indistinguishable.
As I struggle to find some clarity in the lies and darkness that surround me, Alaric continues to manipulate from the shadows.
He knows exactly how to make my demons rage, just to soothe them with his opaque melodies.
I’ve never hated anyone more.
But he’s the one thing I’d happily die for.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the conclusion to the Opaque Melodies. I am not exactly sure what I was reading and I am still not exactly sure what the heck was totally going on. I’m going to have to think on it for a while. But Alaric is not a good man and had planned for Catalina to be in his life for a long while and once he finally got her there she feels like she is losing her mind. Now here is where I got a little confused. Was he doing it to make her lose her mind, was it so she could help him in his illegal deeds? I just never got it. But I did get the love story of it all. It has been a year since I had read the first book and I keep thinking that I am just missing something. I just didn’t get that one part of it but the rest of it was brilliant. It is not a long book. I finished it in no time.
With a penchant for (writing) villainous immoral men, and a tendency to deviate away from traditional happily ever afters, Natalie Bennett is an international bestselling author of twisted and unconventional love stories.
When she’s not slaying words she’s somewhere in the sunshine state, happily taking life one curve-ball at a time.
