Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the Richer Than God Series all in one book. Lucky Lucky you. You don’t have to wait for each release and get to read all three books in one book!! I loved this series so much and it is one that I think no one should miss.
Richer Than God
First of all this is a dark romance. If you have some triggers than you might want to consider those before you dive into this book. This is the story of Brigit who is a girl on the run from her father and Uncle. Her father has a plan and he is not going to let Brigit ruin the agreement he has with her uncle and she is not going to let this happen not matter what. She runs. She has a plan to go to the town her mother grew up in even though she doesn’t even know if she still has any family there that might just help her. This won’t work though because it is far away and she has no money to travel there. This leads her to town and to a brothel. She even considers running to the mountain that Hades own but she know she might not get one the mountain or even come back from there one day from what she has heard. So she turns to the brothel that Zeus owns but she finds she is not the only girl seeking refuge there and a job. However she never expects Zeus to hit her as hard as she does and he is the best looking man she has ever seen. She also never expects to not pass inspection and this devastates her as she needs this and the protection that Zeus can offer. He has a plan and that plan is to train her and then let her go. He knows from the moment he sees her that he has to have her, but he can never love her. Zeus is one dark, mean, devilishly handsome man and he has past that has made him into the man he is today. I have probably told you to much now so I am shutting my mouth before I spoil something. I couldn’t put this book down one I started it. It will have you hooked from the very first chapter and I didn’t put it down until I was finished. Amelia Wilde has me hooked and hooked hard
Sweeter Than Sin
This is the second book in the Richer Than God Trilogy. If you have not read Richer Than Sin you need to read that book too or you are going to be lost going in to Sweeter Than Sin. This book picks up right where Richer Than God left us. Danging by our fingers until we could get Sweeter Than Sin in our hands. I could not put this book down. I don’t want to give anything about the story away as you need to just pick it up and read. I went in blind just knowing that I needed this book ASAP! I will tell you that Brigit needs someone to save her and you have to wonder if Zeus can be that savior in the way that she needs him to be her savior? We get glimpses into Zeus’s past and the treatment he received at his father’s hand. Hades and Persephone make an appearance in this book and I loved seeing them again. (If you haven’t read their story you don’t want to miss that one either It starts with Kind Of Shadows and is so so so good) This is the dark and gritty tale of a man who thinks that he never needs to love a woman. That no good can come of it and a woman is not made to love only use and abuse. Then there is Brigit who you might think of as this weak little thing that needs to be rescued from her father and uncle. Do not give up on her and think she is going to be a weak little shrinking violet. She might just surprise you.
Darker Than Night
Darker Than Night is the final book in the Richer Than God Trilogy. You have to read Richer Than God and Sweeter Than Sin or you are going to be beyond lost. I have loved these character’s from the very beginning of the series and I think I fell more in love with them in Darker Than Night. I felt so sorry for Zeus in this book. He is going thought such an intense internal battle in this book and gosh he will just grab your heart and steal it. Then there is Brigit who keeps this man breathing and is the very life line he never knew he needs. What’s a man to do? You have to read and find out. This was such an epic conclusion to this book and I loved every single second of it.

Amelia Wilde is a USA TODAY bestselling author of dangerous contemporary romance and loves it a little too much. She lives in Michigan with her husband and daughters. She spends most of her time typing furiously on an iPad and appreciating the natural splendor of her home state from where she likes it best: inside.
Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
