SCREWED UP by Harloe Rae Release date: December 13th Genre/Tropes: Opposites attract/No-strings arrangement   AVAILABLE NOW!!! FREE IN KU!!!     Add to Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/59487581   Blurb: “He might be wrong, but I’m tired of being right.” The extreme focus on my career has led to a lonely existence. I don’t make time for much beyond the hospital walls. And the pressure is getting to me. Those who know me best highly recommend I take the edge off by any means necessary. As it turns out, the new security guard at Bayside Regional is just what the doctor ordered. Dane Owens is a disaster waiting to happen. Maybe that’s why I can’t look away. He plays fast and loose with no plans of slowing down. Especially when it comes to dating. We’re polar opposites, which is precisely why this arrangement is temporary. But there’s plenty to keep us occupied until our expiration date. All I need is for Dane to follow the rules that long.   A Bayside Heroes standalone romance.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is another great book in the Bayside Heroes Series. The only other book so far in the series is Washed Up by Kandi Steiner and I loved that one too. There are a few books after this one and they can all be read as standalone’s.
This is the story of Dane and Larsen and they are so smoking hot that you will have to have a fan and your kindle just might melt. Larsen is a psychiatrist at Bayside Regional Hospital and she is very serious about her job. So serious in fact that she does not allow herself any time for anything besides her career. She is obsessed with it really but that is now coming back to haunt her and she finds herself stressed and the people who do know her say she needs to blow off some steam any way possible. Enter Dane who is a security guard at the hospital. These two couldn’t have been more opposites then oil and water really. But neither of them is on the hunt for a relationship and in that respect they seems perfect for each other. A fling sounds great to Larsen and just what she needs. I loved how we got to watch these two characters blossom. Larsen might just surprise you too because she really needs Dane to draw out a side of herself that is very naughty. I loved that side of her too. These two also go on some amazing dates that had me swooning and I just want to say that maybe we all need a little bit of a Dane in our lives. You do not want to miss this book. Go grab it and your favorite beverage and have as much fun as I did reading this book.
