This is a enemies to lovers, step brother story about Tessa and Nicholas. Tessa is a girl on a mission to finished her degree so we can become a film producer. This will help her find her independence and get away from the mafia. Everything in her plan was going perfectly until her mother married the retired Don of the Greek Mafia. In doing so that brings her a new step-brother Nicholas. Tessa is a girl who has some trouble with anxiety and Nicholas presence in her life makes her feel like she is in a constant state of high anxiety. But on the other hand she feels a really strong attraction to her step-brother and the bad thing is he seems to always bring out the worst in her. To solve this little problem though Nicholas decides the only way to fix it is to marry her off to someone else. But he has another thing coming if he thinks that Tessa is just going to sit back, do nothing, and let this happen.
I just loved Tessa and Nicholas. They are pure fire when there not trying to kill each other. I loved how he felt so protectives of Tessa and couldn’t for the life of him understand why he felt this way and I have to say the fact that he fell for her before she did him was super refreshing. A lot of books it is the other way around and I really like that they were to total opposite of the some of the other books I have read. I loved watching Tessa find her footing in life and she really came into her own and found strength that she didn’t even know she had. These two also have some amazing chemistry and they will make you kindle almost overheat. I loved too that there are things going on in this book and pull you in from cover to cover and you to not want to lay this book down.
