This is a dark Mafia, second chance romance that will contains triggers for some readers. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book.
This is the story of Dante and Bridget. They have known each other since they were children and unfortunately he lost his chance with her in high school. She eventually got married and Dante had to just be there as a friend. But tragedy struck and Bridget lost her husband. Now that he has been gone for five years, Dante is tired of waiting and is going to make sure that they have their chance to be together. She has always believed that their love is toxic and he has to convince her that that isn’t true and he is the man that she was always meant to be. Now that might sound like a easy journey and feat but it’s not. There is a lot that goes on in this book and I loved every single second of it. And you don’t have to worry about this book ending on a cliffhanger. It does not. I loved every single second I spent reading this book and I know that you guys will love it too.
