Rattle Some Cages by Lani Lynn Vale Release and Review

Posted April 19, 2022 by Renee Henson in Reviews / 0 Comments

It’s not every day that you see a dead body at the beach. Or the woman of your dreams sitting next to that dead body.
Price Crow first saw Sabrina Proctor in the middle of a hurricane.

She’d been sitting next to her dead best friend, who’d passed away on the beach, with no way to get her back home, thanks to the world’s worst luck, and one hell of a storm.

So Price does what any decent person would do: he carries Sabrina’s dead best friend to their beach house and doesn’t leave her side until he’s forced to.

He had every intention of bridging that gap, of checking up on her and making sure she was okay, but life is funny and has a way of making a mockery of the best-laid plans.

Despite one hell of a connection, under the worst of circumstances, they go their separate ways. At least, he tries to. But he can’t stop thinking about her, and it becomes apparent, very fast, that he has a decision to make.

Choose Sabrina, or live out the rest of his life making everyone else around him happy except for himself.

Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the third book in the Battle Crows MC Series from Lani Lynn Vale. Each of the books can be read as a standalone but they are so good and the characters interconnect that you don’t want to miss the ones in front of Rattle Some Cages.
This book starts off with a bang and I don’t mean the good kind of bang. I mean the one that has you reaching for a Kleenex and having your emotions flying all over the place. Sabrina is a young lady who is entering a new phase of her life. She has broken up with the man she was to marry and that’s a huge change to begin with. But she also promised her very best friend in the world that she would help her with her dying wish. This is how she ends up on a beach in the middle of a hurricane. There is a huge problem though. She needs to move her best friend to safety so that nothing happens to her body, now that she is gone and she can ‘t do it by herself. As fate would have it though Price and his family are on the beach at the same time and the first time he sees Sabrina she is sitting next to what he would learn is her best friend who has passed away and he helps her get her where she needs to be. There is no denying the attraction between Price and Sabrina but I was so very worried that while she would need someone, they couldn’t have met at a worse time. These two are so perfect for each other but like a nosey mean sister Price’s does not like Sabrina and he can’t have that so he stops seeing her and my heart was a mess again. Now Sabrina is trying her best to do like while problems pop up like little wildfires all over the place. She has not a clue that Price is still keeping an eye on her. But will these two every be able to get it together and be what they so deserve to be and have together? You have to read and find out. I thought they had a really amazing story to tell and I devoured every single past of this book. I can’t wait to see whose story we get next in this series. I am super addicted to al the books in this one.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
