I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Guinevere and Rocco. Rocco is a police officer who has been demoted to patrol where he and his partner Damien catch a case that is a mugging of a young girl and it instantly catches Rocco’s eye. Guinevere is out and about on her one day of freedom a month when she is attacked and then she is saved by Rocco and Damien. It is a instant connection for Rocco and he knows that he is never letting her go. Then Rocco embarks on a personal mission to save Guinevere from her horrible family. I know that is super vague but I just went into this book blind and didn’t even read the blurb really. I really loved Rocco and I loved how he was especially with Guinevere. The man is just what she needs and she is a girl who needs to get away from her family so she can spend more than one day a month out of her cage. Why are things even the way they are for Guinevere? Can Rocco truly save her? Will they be able to have the life that Rocco desperately wants them to have? You have to read to find out the answers to all these questions. It is a complex little story that will have you hooked form the first pages and you will just love every single second of this book.
