This is a dark romance. You need to heed the warnings. It will hold triggers for some readers.
If you have been reading this series then I am sure you are as excited for Alistair’s book as I am and now I have read it and it did not disappoint. Alistair is a man without a soul. Who can woo with two the most beautiful smile on his face. After all he is a politician and he lives his life fooling people into thinking he isn’t as corrupt as he really is since the town he is the mayor of is a very corrupt town. Cora is a girl who has basically stopped her life to find what has happened to her brother. This leads her to a bar and an alley and a night with the Wolfe she will never forget. What that man can do to her scares her. But the time has come to go in to his domain. Will she ever be able to find her brother? Or lose her very soul trying to?
I really loved this book. I loved how dark and dirty these characters was. Cora’s love for her brother was something to witness. I don’t want to get into this story for fear of giving something away Just get it and read it and love it as much as I did.
