I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
I fell in love with Remy, Saint, Rogue, Ace, Trip and Squire in the first book and I was lucky because I got to read those two books back to back with no waiting on the next one. At the end of Saint there is a shocking event and my heart just about broke in half. I felt so sorry for Remy but that girl was on a mission to avenge and to destroy, that is for sure. However, this even has really affected her in ways that she didn’t think were possible and now things are getting more dangerous than they already were and all the guys are now aware that Remy has taken Etta’s place Things with the Reaper are about to get worse than they already were the Sinner’s Mark are determined to carry out the plans that Razor had in place. I have to admit that he was a smart man and saw things coming before they even happened. My heart hurt for Remy and when that girl goes dark she goes really dark. But her guys are there to protect her and it was really good to see her letting them all in in their own special ways and her realizing that maybe just maybe she isn’t as broken as she thought she was. However her safety is still in jeopardy as Viper is still just as obsessed with having Remy as he has always been and not that Razor isn’t in charge anymore I felt like he was going to go off the rails. I can’t say to much more or I will give something away and I don’t want to do that. I do believe that this is my first time reading a series by Sinclair Kelly and I was living for it. I need the next book in my hands right now so I can stop holding my breath every time I think about how this book ended. This is a really great series so far and I am loving every minute of it.
