This is a dark romance. You need to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. It will contain triggers for some readers.
This is the a story that has a serial killer running around causing all kinds of havoc in lots of lives. Summer is a girl who has been deeply hurt by her ex-husband. She is broken and can’t seems to get back to the girl she once was. She’s just so sad all the time and she really doesn’t like to go out. She does however spend some time with her best friend and her husband. However when she is least expecting it and visiting her best friend, her husbands brother is there and that is when she meets Luke. He has only wanted to ever be loved. To have what his brother Nick has with Auggie. He’s been hurt in the past to. You would think that he and Summer would be perfect for each other. But, that girl is closed off tighter than a banjo string. There is also a serial killer running around terrorizing the town. Will one of the these characters be his next victim or is one of them hiding a huge secret and has a little murder on their mind? You have to read to find out!!! Just when you think you have it figure out, here comes a nursery rhyme and you are questioning yourself and everything you thought you had figured out. This was a great read that kept me on my toes for sure.
