This book picks up right where Dark Princess left off. Calli is a mess and very much in her own head while trying to deal with the fact that her father, brother, and the love of her life are all missing. She is a mess and her soul is just shattered. Now is where this gets tricky to review this book because I am really afraid to say much more about what goes on in this story as I am terrified I would give something away. And, I am certain that you should just go into this book blind and buckle up for the ride. It is the perfect ending to their story and I really devoured this book. Calli and Batman’s story is not one you are soon to forget. I do have to say that if you have not been reading this series then you are missing some seriously good book. Most of them are iin sets of three as far as the characters stories go. So that four different sets of couples in one world. You need this books in your life.
