This is the second book in the story of Joey and Adora in the Chained Hearts Duets. You have to read Reckless Hands first or you will be very lost reading this book. After the cliff we were left hanging off the edge of in book one, I could not wait to get my hands on this book. I have to say that I don’t know how much to say about this book and not give something away. Where I felt like we got to know a lot about Joey in the last book, this one we get to get to know Adora even better. Her background really comes out in this book and we get to know her like never before. I have always wondered what happened to her to make her the way she was and why she was doing what she was doing and no I know. There is a whole lot that goes on in this book and you will be so sucked in you will not even realize you are done before it ends. I loved every second of reading this duet. When the book starts we all know that Adora has run and that Joey is enraged. Like super angry and he is left more than confused by the truths he uncovers about his runaway bride. Adora is without a doubt falling for Joey, the one person she said she would never fall for. However, when she figures it all out will it be to late for her and Joey? Will he ever be able to forgive her? You have to read to find these things out but I can tell you that this book was amazing, and you are going to love it.
