At the age of eighteen January Whitehall is to be married to a much much older man. However before that can happen she finds herself smack dab in the middle of a revenge plot against the man she was to marry. Kidnapped on her wedding day she is taken to Velvet House by four men. These guys are not afraid to use her in any way possible to exact their revenge. However they really are not prepared for January. Domenico/Doc, Basher/Boddy, Adriano, and Eli all want something different from January. But they sure never expected her to be so strong and determined. She is super innocent and that innocence calls to each of them in a different way. One of them wants to marry her. One of them wants to use her body and make her his mistress. One wants to give her freedom of course with a high cost. The other just wants her dead. This book was absolutely amazing. I devoured it and was surprised when I was finished. To say I need the next book in my hands pronto is a understatement.
