This is the second book in the Ruined Kingdom Duet. You will have to have read Ruined Kingdom before you can read this book. If you have read that book then you know that we were left holding our breath as we finished this book. This one picks up right were we left off and we are back with Vittoria, Amadeo and Bastian. There is a lot that goes on in tis book and this is where the secrets come out and they are mind blowing. We all know that Vittoria is missing a time period, has a brother that she really should never ever trust and he has never been super good to her. A father that was kind of a coward and afraid of more things they anyone know. A sister that she has to protect at all costs and she knows that her brother is coming for her sister. I loved the side of Bastian and Amadeo that we got to see. I loved seeing a side of Vittoria that she really honestly didn’t even know was there because we don’t know her back story. Bastian amazed me in this book. There is so much that goes on and I picked up this book the second that it hit my kindle because I had to know what was going to happen. I could go on and on gushing about this book. You just need to get it and experience it for yourself. It is not a book you will be laying down or be disappointed in.
