You will need to heed the warnings at the beginning of the book.. It will contain triggers for some readers. I read a lot of dark romances and this one has some really dark moments in it. I have been loving this series and this book is no exception but it does take your breath away at times especially when we flash back to the past. Micki is a girl who has had a rough past. She is a woman that does not think she is strong but she is really so strong. Wen her mother dies her life is no longer us but Thomas. This is the man that is the reason for all the horrible things this girl goes through. I have so many things I could say about Thomas but I cannot say them and risk a spoiler flying out of my mouth. However a time comes when it is time for her to get revenge on everyone that has ever wronged her and I was living for that. Luc, oh my goodness Luc!!! You will see why I put those explanation marks thee when you read the book. Luc is so in love with Micki and once they are reunited he is the man by her side that would do anything and everything for her. These two do not have a easy story to tell. It is one that will have you feeling everything you are reading and I ended up devouring this book. You won’t be able to lay it down because you just have to know what is going to happens next. Read this book. You do not want to miss Vengeful Rotten Casualties.
