I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.If you like your anti heroes over the top then you are going to love kieran. He is a man along with his friends that have lived in this life for a while in the syndicate and slowly taking over the worst of the worst in the organization. They have a very strong loyalty to each other. When one of his friends asks him to help his sister he doesn’t even blink an eye and is off to help Aurora. He knows what he has to do to protect her and that is marry her. However he thinks that she is a docile and innocent girl and what he gets is a fiery female who is super hostile towards him. He just doesn’t get it. He saved her after all. She might be sweet and innocent but she knows that her father and the men he associates with are some of the worst men in the world. However that doesn’t stop her from attacking the guy that she has always had a crush on and actually saved her life. All she wanted in life was independence and freedom but she finds herself safe at the mercy of another man. Kieran is also keeps some huge secrets but is most of all out for revenge for the death of his father. It is a wild ride to say the least and a book that I really enjoyed.
