❕𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐑𝐁❕

The ocean is dark and filled with mystery, but it’s not the only thing with secrets.

Lucy Sodaro has always wanted to explore the ocean. She never thought it would turn into a career, and definitely not one with her childhood best friend, Tucker, by her side. But now both are marine biologists, living their best life, until Abyss – a private company with murky intentions – offers them the chance of a lifetime. Three months at the bottom of the ocean inside their submarine, the Siren. Lucy and Tucker jump at the opportunity to do what they both love. Explore, with no limits, and all expenses paid.

But the childhood best friends aren’t prepared for everything they discover on the ocean floor. Captain Jack might be an experienced submariner, but he doesn’t seem to enjoy women being in his space. And Nathan, the shy navigator, is too busy managing his panic attacks to be much help. .

Relationships new and old are tested when the journey continues to expose secrets, both about the depths of the sea and the dark desires inside each crew member. The ocean doesn’t discriminate, and when things go awry, the team must set aside personal grievances to survive their mission, regardless of the cost. Because at the bottom of the ocean, the only way out is up.

Sunk is a standalone, why choose novel.

Renee’s Five StarΒ Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is a standalone why choose romance. I will go ahead and warn you that at some point in this book your heart is going to be in your throat and it might just break a little. You can’t help but fall for the characters. I don’t think it is one of those books that you start and just connect to the characters right away. But that is fine, because you will eventually. I have to admit that I’m the girl who watch the titanic and held her breath a lot in that movie. I’m not a fan of water and I have to admit that I was a little worried about being at the bottom of the ocean in a submarine with these characters. I did find myself holding my breath a time or two because you just can’t help but have this picture in your head while reading this book. I loved the relationship that Lucky and Tucker. I love lifelong friendships like that but naturally of course if there is not a romantic connection well things will just naturally happen. I don’t really feel like I can tell you anything about this story. I don’t want to put any spoiler out in the universe. I love that we are in a unique environment. You don’t ready many books that take place on the ocean floor in a submarine.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
