Precious As Glass by Ebony Brewer Release and Review

This is the story of Jonas and Cynthia. She is a girl who is desperate for a job. She has a horrible stepmom and stepsisters. One kicked her out of the house and the others ruined most everything she owned. Then she loses her job and her means of supporting herself and paying for college. She is desperate. Four little words in the want ads about to change her life forever. Jonas is the Mayor of Storydale. He too is desperate but for totally different reasons. He needs a live in maid pronto. He sure was surprised when Cynthia answered his ad willing to go to work right away. He certainly wasn’t expecting the attraction that happens but maybe they both need each other more than they realize. She has lived this Cinderella style upbringing and is sweet and kind to everyone. Jonas however is the opposite and in the world he lives in he thinks the absolute worst of everyone because of what he went through a few years ago. The events that happened really changed his life forever. They are as opposite as opposite can be and they feel their instant attraction right down to the very bones of them. Can they ever work because of this? Well, you have to read and find out. It was a good book that I read quickly and a great afternoon escape.
