I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the second book in the Dance of the Dead Series from C. Lymari. You don’t have to have read the first book to read this one because it is about a different couple but I highly recommend the first one to you. It was just as good as this one. This is a dark age gap romance. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. It will contain triggers for some readers. This is the story of Luke and Summer. She is a girl who has spent most of her life in a gilded cage. She learned to dance to deal with everything that was going on and wrong in her life. But when she meets Luke she knows that she has met the man who can help her put things to rest concerning her past. Luke was able to make her feels things that she never thought she would feel. Happy and safe. I will say that this book has so much going on in it that you really have to pay attention to what you are reading. The small things in this book are very important. I felt like I was a little in dark trying to figure out what exactly I was reading. Now that I have said that, I don’t want you to think that is a bad thing. It certainly is not. Filled with twists and turn and bombs just sailing around all over the place, I thought this was a really great book.
