I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Felix/Lix is a busy man. He works with this brother by day in a construction business during the day and at night at an escort service. However this one is a little different than what you are thinking. The men that work here work right along side of a domestic abuse center that rescues women and children for the people that are abusing them. Of course this is all a secret and needs to stay that way and always has. Until Lix picks up Chosen is an investigative reporter whose Uncle was killed and she is on a mission to find the killer. This will lead her to Felix who will protect his secrets at all cost. These two have quite the connection from the moment they meet but they sure don’t trust each other not one bit. In this book you get to go into the past to Lix childhood and it will break your heart. This is the conclusion to the series so I recommend that you read the other books in this series first.
