Meagan Brandy AND Amo Jones

Release Date: July 7

 AVAILABLE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED

“You will go to Rathe University, live among the giftless and those of light magic. You, Knight Deveraux, will learn to coexist.” I’ve never heard more wasted words in my life. Then again, the gifted counsel never did have much to say that wasn’t. The only members amongst them who speak a thing worth listening to are my parents, the King and Queen of the Stygian’s, the people of Dark Magic. Unfortunately for me and my brothers, they’ve chosen to play nice instead of sinking their talons into anyone who dares demand a thing from their heirs. In this instance at least. Every gifted is forced to leave our realm behind after graduation to spend the next four years in a world that isn’t ours, while pretending it’s enough for those with something deeper clawing beneath their skin. It isn’t. Not by a long shot, and while it’s as boring as I thought it would be, we find ways to entertain ourselves. A little Fae Dust, the power of persuasion, and it’s a party worthy of a royal … or four. That was fun the first year, but it’s my second now, and the minute I got back to campus, I knew it would be worse than before. I felt it, that pull buried beneath my skin, the whisper of a warning deep in my mind I could hear but couldn’t reach. It starts with a human party and ends with a fucking nightmare. I five foot, white haired one. With eyes like ice and a body begging to be bitten, she’s a problem. A giftless one. That’s right, she’s human. Worthless. And if the shadow circling my soul is telling me what I think it is … she belongs to it. My new obsession … is my fated mate. But there is no way the fates would give me, a Lord of Rathe, a heir to the throne of dark magic, a giftless girl. I’ll prove they got it wrong. That she’s not mine. If I’m lucky, I’ll destroy her in the process.   Grab your copy

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.Welcome to the world where giftless and gifted live as one for a little while. Rathe University is the college that Knight and her brothers go to and they rule the school. But here not your normal college students by a long shot. The gifted council has decided that they need to live among to giftless to learn to fit in with them. Knight for the life of him can’t imagine why his parents the King and Queen of the Stygian’s who are the people of Dark Magic would go along with such a thing. The only good thing about being in the giftless world is hockey and their team rules. One hockey game though with the other university in town and Knight is drawn to a girl like he has never been drawn to anyone else in his life. London is only at the university so that she wasn’t separated from her best friend Ben. Her parents died when she was young and she had to go live with her Uncle who is her entire world right along with Ben. She is a not thrilled about classes and could really care less. But lately she has been feeling off and having strange dreams but the girl certainly loves to party and party she does. However when she sees Knight for the first time something draws her to him and she also can’t figure out why. She has no idea who he is or what he is but things are about to get very interesting quickly. That’s all I can tell you about their journey. This is a book that needs to be experienced on its on. You will spend a lot of time in this book so engrossed that the world just falls away. the characters are great and super interesting. I devoured this book and only laid it down when I couldn’t keep my little eyes open anymore. Then right back to the book I went. I loved every single second. I loved London. She is one tough young lady that has quite the journey in front of her. Knight is an alpha male and then some. A prince in a world that no human knows exists and he takes nothing off anyone and he and his brothers rule the school so to speak. You will not regret for a second picking this book up and reading it. I loved it and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too.
