Turner is a man who goes though a lot of assistants. He is a ruthless businessman and has a problem when it comes to them. He likes to play where he really shouldn’t. But when Devereux is brought to his attention because she is a girl who won’t want him, but wants to learn all she can about business. The girl has goals and has huge plans as far as what she wants to do for the rest of her life goes. She will bring order to the chaos, or so that was the plan. But now she is driving Turner crazy. He finds instead of order she brings Chaos, irritation, malaise, comfort, exuberance and delight. He is obessed with her. She is however much too young for him and really is stubborn, standoffish, really honest and dresses like she is way way older than she should be dressing. Now though, he finds all his well planned plans crashing down and she is the one to blame. He has met his match. No scratch. he is no match for her at all.
Get ready for Turner and Ro to rock your world in all the best ways possible. The banter between them will have you smirking and i remember thinking a few times wow she gives it to him in such way that he is burnt before he ever sees it coming. She has a mouth on her. That’s a fact. He on the other hand is captivated by her from the first time they meet. However he would never admit that to a soul. If you have read R.K. Lilley before then you have probably missed her characters and they way she has this magical way of getting your connected to them so well you feel like you know them like the back of your hand. I really loved this book. You do not want to miss it.
