Author: Ahren Sanders
Genre: Contemporary/Military/Opposites Attract Romance

Our story began long before we realized it.
As a Marine, I’m trained in discipline and control.
Until her.
Shy, Brilliant, selfless—Rowan Ellis has no idea how beautiful she is.
The night we met, something awakened feelings inside me I didn’t think possible.
Then an unthinkable tragedy strikes, and I vow to protect her at all costs.
Even if that means protecting her from me.
She thinks she’s broken, but she’s wrong.
I can’t sit back any longer and watch as she stumbles through the motions, her light dying along the way.
So, it happens.
One look, one touch, one kiss… everything changes.
I’m done waiting.
Now it’s all on the line.
I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to give her the life she deserves.
My name is Ford Whitman.
And I never back down from a fight.
Especially when I’m fighting for my forever.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Ford and Rowan. This is the third book in the Men of Action series and I have to say that I fell hard for Ford and Rowan. Get ready because these bring the heat and it is amazing to witness. If you have been reading this series then I am sure you, just like me have been waiting for Ford’s story and it was so worth the weight. Rowan is a really sweet girl and she has really been through it. She’s broken and you really root for her to want her happily ever after so badly. Ford was in the military and he is a man that thinks he can’t love. He has seen and been through some horrible things. When it comes to Rowan he is taking things slow and I do mean really slow. He is bound and determined to make sure that Rowan is the one to choose what she wants. It gets a little frustrating but don’t let that make you feel like this is going nowhere. But hang on. It is so worth it. All of it is. Everything that happens. All they go through. It is amazing to experience. I loved every single second of this book. It will make you feel all the feels and you will be hooked and a little sad when this book ends. I could have stayed in this book with Ford and Rowan for a long long time.

Ahren spent her formative years living in an active volcano. There her family made collectible lava art. She studied rock collecting at the Sorbonne in France. There she met the love of her life-her pet pig Sybil. She returned to the states and started writing. She is happily married to a guy who used to live under a bridge and she met while pole-dancing.
Now, meet the real me. I grew up in the south and consider myself a true “Southerner”. Most of the special locations mentioned in my books are reflections of my favorite places. Living on the Florida coast, my family spends a lot time at the beach, which is where I usually can be found with a book in my hand.
