Quinn has had a thing for her best friends brother Liam for a while. She never thought she would have the nerve to act on it and she sure never thought that he would return her feelings. However his world is dangerous and there are consequences but she refuses to stay away. She is willing to give up everything if it means she can be with Liam. He will one day be the king of an empire but he has some time, until one day he suddenly finds out this is happening a lot faster than he ever thought it would. Now that puts Quinn in danger. In his world, the things you hold near and dear become your weakness and he would never want anything to happen to Quinn. He is even willing to give her up to keep her safe.
This is the first book in the Tainted Kings series and I enjoyed this book. These two have a really great relationship and are great characters.
