I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Flint “Maddog” Shepherd is a man who lives with nightmares of his time as a Marine. He also suffers from injuries he sustained when a bomb dropped on his unit. He is the only one in his unit that survived and he lives with this every day of his life. However because of the trauma he has endured, he has a service dog that is as loyal as his Marine brothers and things are beginning to fall into place for him. Finally. Now he has found a renewed purpose when he is lead to the Royal Bastards MC where he fights a cesspool of crime, drugs, power and trafficked girls. He is a man who doesn’t tolerate bullies and men who beat on women. That is exactly how he meets Lark and he takes matters into his own hands. This one event is about to change his life again in more ways than one. I loved reading this book. Maddog and Lark are absolutely amazing and the story they have to tell is going to keep you one the edge of your seat at times. I can not wait to get the next book in my hands.
