This is the second book in the Love & Hate Duet. You need to read The Boy I Once Hated first or you are going to be lost. I loved that book so I was super excited to get this book in my hands. Skylar and Noah are really great characters. When you open this book you will be seven years in the future. Skylar has to go back home. This has always been a place she refused to go back to. You will feel for her so much in this book. I love when a book has you so emotionally invested in a characters. And I was that way with Skylar. This book really will put you through every emotion you have ever had. It is a journey of healing and absolute soulmates. I could not put this book down. I was so invested in what these two were going to have happen. I also loved and have to say that Noah has quite the mouth on him. I really am a sucker for a dirty talking male character. If you have not started this duet now, now is the time. It is one that I am so glad that I read. I know that I will never forget this story.
