This is a friends to lovers sports romance. It is the story of Cooper and Ellery. You might as well get ready to have Cooper steal your heart. Book boyfriend perfection for sure. These two have been the very best of friends since college. They at first thought they might have had a romantic connection but soon they decided that they were meant to just be friends. Ten years later and Cooper is now a professional football player. Elle is now a doctor. They have always gotten along so well and have an amazing group of friends. They all have a bond with each other. When Elle starts to date someone else Cooper is beside himself. He isn’t really sure how to feel about this. There is no doubt in his mind that he is in love with his best friend. However when you don’t want to lose that person from your life if something romantic happens and then explodes you do the only thing you can do. Now that she is dating someone new his jealousy is really starting to take a toll on their friendship.. Their friends decided to get these two back where they belong. So to a secluded cabin in the woods they go. Will they or won’t they cross the line and turn their friendship into the most amazing thing that has ever happened to them? Well I can’t tell you that. You have to read for yourself. I loved these characters so much. Like I said Cooper will steal your heart and you won’t want it back. He and Elle are so perfect for each other. I really had the best time and loved reading this book.
