This is a forbidden age gap romance. Booklyn is having the night of her life with Professor Wolf. Their families are mortal enemies. To say they one up and try to destroy each other might be an understatement. Brooklyn is twenty two and attends the college her father is the dean at. He knows that he should have her in his bar like he does. Once can’t really hurt anything. Then he will never think about this woman again. However someone had other plans for them and now they are in a huge mess that she thinks she has the solution too. Become engaged and the whole thing will go away. However there is more to the story than either of them know. Ronan is somewhat the black sheep of the Wolf family and when he didn’t got into law to be a lawyer but to teach he made his father mad. Brooklyn is a girl who has a father that cares for nothing but money and social status and already has lost his wife. But now someone is after them and they have to figure it out. Brooklyn gets the worst of their deed it seems but I really fell for Ronan. While he might seem cold and not interested and only interested in how they can satisfy each other he really is a much deeper character than that. Brooklyn is sweet and mouthy and tough when she needs to be and he didn’t expect that out of her at all. Can these two figure out who is out to get them and why? Will they come out of this with their sanity and go there separate ways? Or will fate be handing them something that neither of them saw coming or am able to fight? You have to read to find all this out. I was hooked from the first page and I really loved this story. I fell so hard for these characters and I have been thinking about these characters since I finished this book. You do not want to miss it.
