This is the story of Odette and Cillian.
Cillian Cross is an independent man. He walked away from the family business and for eight years she has been making his own way in the world. But, when his father dies and he becomes the sole heir of the East Coast Division of the Irish Mafia. Someone has taken out his dad and he is dead set on revenge. When he learns the man is having his daughter sold at a marriage auction he can’t help but think this is the perfect chance at revenge.
Odette has been raised to be small minded and willing to get in line and do what she is told. She is after all being raised to be a Mafia wife. However she never in a million years expected the man she is to marry to be Cillian. This might not be ideal and the girl is not a fan of her family. When he threatens to use her to destroy her family but always protect her things just might be better than she thought they would be. I know that sounds awful but you have to read the story to see why I said that. I really loved this book. It has all the element you need in a Mafia story to make it a great Mafia read. I loved these characters. Even Cillian and you will discover why when you read the book too. I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone.
