NOW AND FOREVER

Aleatha Romig

Release Date: May 13

Arranged marriage, age-gap, mafia/cartel romance Capo to the Luciano Famiglia was my birthright. The cruelty needed to succeed in this life has been beaten into me since I was a young boy. My father, Vincent Luciano, taught by example and with the slap of his hand. My independent streak took me down paths my father would never have gone. With our enemies gaining strength, it is my idea to attempt an alliance with an unlikely bedfellow. The Roríguez Cartel and the Luciano Famiglia are improbable partners, yet even Vincent Luciano can’t deny the possible benefits. The only way to solidify the deal is for me to marry Catalina Ruiz, the eldest daughter of Andres Ruiz, a top lieutenant in the Roríguez Cartel. Catalina is young, beautiful, and thinks she understands the path she is being forced to follow. There is no way for her to know the monster she is about to wed. A man doesn’t become a made man at thirteen if he is capable of love. That emotion is beyond my scope of expertise. Saving the famiglia is my goal. And once this alliance is made, ours will be but the first of the brutal vows exchanged. Have you been Aleatha’d? NOW AND FOREVER is a stand-alone dangerous, mafia, romance in the new “Brutal Vows” series. Each arranged marriage story is filled with the suspense, intrigue, and heat you’ve come to expect from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig. *NOW and FOREVER is a stand-alone mafia, arranged marriage romance within the interconnected world of ‘Brutal Vows.’ Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports. I really loved reading this book. Once I picked it up I did not put it down. This is the story of Dario and Catalina. She is immersed in the Mexican Cartel. He is the next in line to rule the Italian Mafia. His father is almost ready to retire. He needs a wife though if he is going to rule. Catalina is his perfect pick and the alliance between the families will benefit them both. I really loved Catalina. She has been to college and is just about to begin and internship when she finds out that her father has promised her to Dario. She will do anything to save her sister from the same fate and thank goodness she is still to young for Dario, or things would be different. When they meet and marry Catalina is determined to make this marriage work. After all she was raised in this world. She knows how it works. However their new home has members in it that aren’t so welcoming. But Dario has failed to mention that there was someone before her that his family would never approve of. I don’t want to say to much and give it away. I loved these two. I loved getting to know them as they go to know each other. There are surprises along the way. Some shocking and some will break your heart. You do not want to miss this book. I loved every single second of it.
