What happens when an assassin is married to a police officer. This is the story of Bianca and Theo. She is a Bratva assassin who is really really good at what she does. However, she is married to Theo who is the NYPD Chief Commissioner. He is rather dull really and not someone at all that you would think Bianca would be with. However she is a little bit obsessed with him and juggling the two lives she lives. One moment she is the perfect demure wife that he knows and the next she is a machine and really good at unalive who she needs to. All the while her husband has not a clue. But things are about to get very interesting when corruption and personal vendettas come into play. No one is who they say they are and that includes her husband Theo. I don’t know that I really understood why in the world this bad butt girl was so obsessed with Theo. He really got on my nerves ninety five percent of the time. She has to save him so many times it almost gets hysterical. Now her BFF Vlad. I will let you discover him yourself but he really added to this book where Theo was lacking. There are a lot of characters in this book to and at times it got a little confusing. I have read one other of this authors books before and loved it, but this one just didn’t do it for me really.
