This is a mafia story. It is the story of Dario and Mia. Mia is the mayor of the towns daughter. Her father all but begs Dario to keep his daughter safe. She is a pampered princess whose job is being a influencer and now she is in danger. He sees this as an opportunity to increase the power that the DeLuca family has since the man is the mayor of Chicago. However to do this he has to make Mia his wife. Dario after all is the leader of the Mafia and all Mafia leaders need a wife. Mia is a girl who has always been sheltered but she is a really great girl who wants nothing more than to make her own way in the world. If she has to be married, at least the man is good to look at. But she knows that there will be secrets and danger in life. He is after all a man with a dangerous reputation. I really loved watch those two get to know each other. When the spark is lite and it ignites is it is burning hot flame that a can’t be put out. And I really loved watching Dario fall. There are twist and turns with danger lurking around corners. This was a great read and I really enjoyed reading it.
