If you have read the books in this series then you, like me are pretty sad to know that this is probably the last book. This book also picks up where we left off with Obsidian missing. He did after all feel like he was the odd man out when it came to his brothers and they are worried about him. Ariana sure never expected to save a man from the Pacific Ocean, but that is exactly what she did when she saw Obsidian. He was in so much danger from not knowing what he was doing and trying to surf. But she bolts and disappears. His family is just glad to have him back and determined to take some of the stress off of him by hiring him an assistant. Ariana is perfect for the job and she has big things to do to keep her family safe. It feels like the perfect scam for her to pull off. And that is all I am going to tell you. I loved that we got to see why Ariana does what she does for her family. I always love a good back story. She is woman of many layers and it reads like peeling those layers back like and onion. Obsidian is his usual broody, rude self. But we really get to know him in this book. I won’t say that he didn’t get on my nerves at times, because he so did. However, I can promise you that you will fall for him. This is a great book that you do not want to miss.
