I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Pippa and Damien. I have to say if you are looking for a book that is really spicy, then you have found it. Your kindle might just melt in your very hands. Damien works for the Lombardi family. The man is loyal and ruthless should be his middle name. Pippa is a girl that has a father that is an absolute mess. The man loves to gamble and he is in some serious trouble with the family. This is how these two meet. She is trying to pay off her fathers gambling debt. I think she should think her lucky stars that she ran into Damien first when she was doing this, or we would have been reading a totally different story. Damien’s boss it a little off his rocker. This is not a insta love kind of story. There are decision to be made, and some of those really affect Damien and keep him away from Pippa. I think my heart would break when this would happen. Talk about rooting for a guy. I was rooting for Damien from the beginning. I loved that these two had a chance to not be in what we are use to Mafia romances being. We got to see them have say in their moments together. Pippa just wasn’t some arm candy when he needed it. She had a say in things in their relationship. But first they have to get there and some people do not want these two together at all. You need this book in your life. I have to shut up about it or I am going to spoil something. Grab it, read it. You won’t regret it.
