BOUND BY A PROMISE

Aleatha Romig

Release Date: October 14

Arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, Mafia/cartel romance

As the only daughter of the Kansas City capo, at eighteen years of age, I was given to the son of my father’s consigliere, a man who was expected to accomplish great things for the famiglia. Things didn’t go the way we planned.

There wasn’t love.

My husband was a traitor, taking part in a coup against the famiglia.

My husband is dead.

I’m free.

Until the fateful night my brother, our new capo, informs me that I’ve once again been promised in marriage. He explains that as a childless widow and the daughter of the late capo dei capi, I am desired—requested.

Aléjandro Roríguez is the son of the leader of the Roríguez cartel. My brother married a woman from the cartel, securing the Mafia/cartel alliance. He says that it’s now my turn.

I’ve only met my future husband a few times, but I know without a doubt that I don’t like him. Loving him is impossible. I’ve lived in a marriage without love. I won’t do it again.

Aléjandro lives a dangerous existence.

Death saved me once before.

Maybe it will again.

Renee’s Five Star Romance

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

I was so excited to have this book in my hands. I am so in love with the Mafia and the Cartel forming an alliance. It just keeps getting better and better. This is the story of Camila and Dante. These two first meet when his brother Dario and her sister Catalina marry. This forms the bond between the two families and the mafia and the cartel. Both are attracted to each other but Camila is a little young still then but Dante knew that he wanted her When she comes to her sister after her family needs to get out of town I loved and I do mean love how Camila took matters into her own hand and went to see Dante. From that moment on, they wanted each other. However, a monkey wrench is thrown at them and they take matters into their own hands. They did what they had to do and will ask for forgiveness later. This book is so good. You will not be able to lay it down. I loved these characters that we have seen in previous books. I loved how we got to see more than just them in this book too and see how everyone is doing. I so hope this series never ends. I am loving it so much.

TILL DEATH DO US PART is a stand-alone dangerous Mafia/cartel romance in the new “Brutal Vows” series. Each arranged-marriage story is filled with the suspense, intrigue, and heat you’ve come to expect from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.
