Julie Bailes is a great talent this book was great. It was full of loss, love, strength, and angst. The story line was incredible and just when you thought it was all going along smoothly for Allie the plot takes a twist and her world is mixed up again.
The characters were amazing I loved the interaction between the friends. All the threats of kicks to the vagina cracked me up. You could tell that Allie had great friends who were there for her through all of her heartache and loss. Poor Allie is such a strong girl she lost her dad and her brother but she’s fighting through the pain. That’s a lot to deal with in such a short amount of time. There are other losses she’s fighting against as well but I won’t spoil it for you. Just know she is an amazing girl.
Oh and then there’s Blake. He is a doctor and he loves her so much. She is trying to let go of everything and let herself love him. The two of them together are so HOT and on top of that he is so good to her and says the sweetest thing. The question is can they make is or is there too much in her past that stands in the way?
**READ after Shattered and Shaken (book 1), and prior to Shattered & Mended (book 2)** Mature audience only
Walking away from her was the hardest decision I ever made. Leaving her without an explanation broke us both. Our hearts have been left shattered. I could make excuses. I could lay the blame on others, but still I made the decision. I had to. It was the only way to protect the both of them.
After all of Allie’s loss, my thought was only on her and her happiness. On her love and need for her big brother. I was replaceable, Kyle wasn’t. I wouldn’t allow him to crush her heart with his death. I knew I had follow him. I would throw myself on top of bombs, in front of bullets, whatever it took to get him home to her, alive. There are two sides to every story, and you’ve only heard one. Don’t be so quick to judge; I hate myself for what I’ve done. But all that I did, it was all for Allie.

All for Allie Review: 5 stars
I am so happy that she wrote this novella to give us the story behind the tape from her brother and why Wyatt did what he did. At the end of Shattered and Shaken I was team Wyatt but I felt a little bad about my choice. First because of what happened when he left and second because Blake is so nice and loves her so much I feel bad for him. After reading this I am team Wyatt all the way!
Wyatt has this crazy strong love for Allie and he would do anything for her. Including risk his life and break his own heart. He sacrificed so much for her happiness including his own happiness and ultimately his friend/brother and purpose for leaving her.
At the end of this book I cried so hard because my heart was breaking for Wyatt. He had lost his friend and I hope that all those years of heartbreak for Allie aren’t for nothing. I need Shattered & Mended to find out and hopefully it will mend my heart that broke for Wyatt.
**READ Shattered & Shaken and All for Allie prior to Shattered & Mended, as this is the last in the series** Mature Audience My mind was made up and my decision had been made, but fate felt the need to rear her ugly head and demand control.
Fate is guaranteed, not to be reckoned with, and she won’t be defeated. You see, she’s the author to our stories that have already been written; there’s no editing them. Try as you might, but all you’ll do is piss her off.
When you fuck with fate’s masterpiece, tragedy strikes, death occurs, and hearts get shattered. I’ve never been one to follow the rules. So instead, I stood with arms wide open and I challenged her. I knew the possibilities of her kicking my ass were high, but I refused to back down. I invited all the heat she packed, and quickly learned my lesson…
You don’t fuck with her.

I am not sure how I can write this review without some major spoilers but I do know that of I ever am face to face with Julie Bailes she better look out. There will be some major leg humping going on because she has made me so happy. I loved the whole series and this book was an amazing way to finish it off.
It had so much stuff that sucked me in and I couldn’t get enough. Some of these are two hot men fighting over the main character, beautiful babies, drama big time, and hot and steamy sex.
Ali is amazing she has gone though so much and in this story she has to recuperate from the accident that put her in the hospital. She also has to deal with trying to figure out what is going on with Wyatt and Blake and the pregnancy. I don’t know how one person can go though so much and be so strong.
I love love love Wyatt and have always been and will always be team Wyatt! The amount of fight and determination he puts forth in his belief the he and Ali will be together because she is is one and only just melts me. He never falters in his belief in them and he shows her whenever he gets a chance even when she pushes him away. He is always there to take care of her and support her. Oh and he has the same love and determination to have a family with the daughter he just found out he had. Who couldn’t love Wyatt?
Blake is an amazing man and I’m sure he is a good man for Ali but I personally have the belief that Ali and Wyatt are meant to be. Blake loves Ali with all he has as well and he is so caring and supportive when she is pregnant. He is so cute in the way he goes on about pregnancy. Blake & Ali are super HOT and can’t keep their hands off each other.
Just as you think you have this story figured out there is a twist that rocks all of their lives and it may just mix everything up? Get Shattered & Mended to see what will happen.
